Yesterday it was nearly 110F here. Today, much cooler, very early this morning. And the wind wasn't blowing more than 10 mph. I took the P-10C but didn't shoot it, instead I shot 120 rounds through the Kadet and 50 through the 97B"E", with the bullseye specific trigger setup. It was clear to me that I was rusty. Struggled at 50 yards in the low 90's but got some good targets with each pistol at 25 yards, standing, single hand. I need some more trigger time with the Kadet before I expend much more ammo with the 97. My mind isn't up to speed for serious bullseye yet. But, these two targets indicate that a clean target is possible. If I keep practicing and keep working on mental things like focusing on fundamentals and not getting distracted by other people and video cameras and audio recorders.
A great Father's Day diversion, since my sons are both tied up with THEIR kids (as they should be) 300 miles east and southeast of us this weekend.
The guns are good, although the Kadet ramp and magazines need cleaninig.
Shooter needs work. Shooter can't hardly shoot heavy steel pistols with red dots on a relatively cool calm day.
