PP did indeed send CGW a "cease and desist" e-mail about magazines.  They threatened to shut down our processing (at the time they were our main processor) unless we removed all magazines over 10 rounds from our website.  We had no choice.   They even called us and asked if we were processing anything to do with an actual serial numbered firearm or frame and emphatically warned us not to so.

Since I have to be me (not always a good thing) I told them they were violating everyone's constitution rights and I personally thought they were acting like a socialist/communist regime.  They really don't care what I think.

We are confident they sabotaged our "Add to Cart" feature on certain items.  So if I ever get the chance to meet a PP higher up, I plan to tell them to go to jump up the devil's you know what.

I was going to say, "Don't hold back, tell us what you REALLY feel", but I'd probably end up violating my own decency rules...

I know of many gun enthusiasts having their personal PayPal accounts closed and "Frozen" because of attempting to pay for serial numbered firearms or parts (lowers) thru their gifting feature. "FROZEN" means PayPal doesn't release your funds up to six months. It clearly state the policies when you sign up. I for one, spreads the word to how anti gun the CA based company is. I closed my account years ago due to their policies. I do believe though since it is their company, they can set the policies and I do with my little business. Spread the word!

As others have opined, just don't use PP. They have publicly made their policy known (anti-2nd Amendment).

Like it or not,PayPal owns the lion's share of the market for transactions.  So you can protest, but at the end of the day, there is no other option that does not sacrifice a LOT of sales.

Best way to address this is in the courts, and I would be tickled if the law that beat them was a California State law.

Personally, I used Square when they first came out, and then one day, out of the blue, my accounts no longer worked, because they discovered (gasp) I was selling gun parts.  Not guns, but just non-serialized parts.  So my business went dead cold for a week or two till I got PayPal.  I discussed with a rep at length, and PayPal assured me they did not allow serialized guns, but gun parts were fine, so I've been using them.

I’ve started using bitcoin. I figure the more I use the easier it will be to use. I still use PayPal when I must but I don’t keep any funds with them. If a couple of the on line gun brokers started accepting bitcoin they would have a flood of business now bitcoin has hit $10,000. I would be much closer to a total PayPal boycott from then on.

Not surprised about PP being sued.
So many complaints & shut outs over the years

has anyone tried Zelle. I have now had 3 people suggest I should make the switch but .. I am a little afraid of something new. Paypal has worked fine for me for years but I would rather not support a company that doesnt support me.
