P10 disasembly issue?
« on: June 30, 2017, 09:31:26 PM »
Took my P10 down when I first got it to clean and lube. Followed directions and it came apart easy enough.
Fired about 150 rounds through it but now I can't get the slide off. Goes just past the mag well but then is hanging up on something. Don't want to force it. Tried lifting, pushing down, wiggling.

Any thoughts?

Have you pressed the trigger before going thru the disassembly procedures - like one would do with a Glock?

When I first took mine apart, I had to have the trigger pressed before I slid the slide back and hit the take down lever.

I had that happen when I left an empty magazine in the frame.   Just a thought from someone that should have known better.

Contacted CZ. Very quick response. They surmise that one of the slide lock lever spring legs came out from underneath the block. Very promptly sent a return label and it will be on its way on Wednesday.

I was putting the slide back on ones and hit something and reset the trigger and didn't notice, locked that thing up. I was impressed with myself.

Just had the same thing happen to me,called CZ,Cory, was most helpful.Pistol is on it's way to CZ.After looking at the schematic of the pistol and watching the video on the detail stripping of the weapon,I wonder if this is going to be the achellies heal of this model.I'll wait and see.

Hope not.
After just a little shooting, I really want to love this gun. Shot it so much better than the 19.

Same here.
First email said repair was complete, just the slide lever release spring.
Another email about 10 minutes later, replacing the gun, but subject to availability.
Next day email (monday) said it had been shipped and it arrived today.  ?
