Buy her another one, she certainly deserves it

Nice!!

I kinda want one, but I hated shooting my friend's G19. Can't imagine shooting a smaller gun.

We already own two (2) shields in our family.

I just bought 2 more ( a 9mm & a .45) on this rebate - I do not believe you can buy a better concealed carry gun for under $275 each

CZ 85 Combat Satin Nickel 9mm
CZ 2075 RAMI P  9mm
CZ 75 P-07 Duty

I bought one too. Paid a little extra for the night sights. It's a perfect size for carry and only 19 oz. The weight is what sold me. If my waist were smaller than my hips, I would have bought a P01, but that's too many years in the past! The trigger is hard to deal with but without a manual safety, it's not such a bad thing. A firm spot tight grip (squeeze till you see spots) minimizes the low left pull (right handed). Still, I think a new trigger is in the future. Frankly, it was my son who spotted the sale. Normally I stay away from cheap guns in general and polymers specifically, but overall this is a great little gun for the money. It's well made, doesn't rattle when you shake it and it eats everything you feed it! I got to admit, I buy the cheapest reloads possible for practice! I fire over 800 rds. of 9mm a month. So i'm happy with the purchase. It's no CZ but at least I don't have to wear suspenders to carry it!

Took mine with me to the range today. Put 15 rounds through it to function test after the upgrades. Shoots straight and functions. Trigger has a stupid clean break. Let my Dad shoot 10 of the function test rounds and he turned to me and asked how much he could buy it from me for. He was also eying my classic 75 Compact and the Scarlett Pistol. I may end up selling this Shield since my Dad liked it so much...

      ^^^^^^ this!

I have the Classic and am very happy with it.  Trigger was a little stiff and gritty to start but it has since smoothed out, no problem getting used to the paddle release either.

I ordered a Shield also, I couldn't resist the price. I'll let my daughter shoot it and compare to the LC9s (which she likes and can shoot pretty well) and whichever one she prefers or shoots best, will go to her on her birthday next month. It'll be interesting to me to compare the two and at worst I can sell it for what I paid for it or use it as a 'boat gun'.

I bought a Shield .40 about two years ago and I like it very much. It has been 100% reliable and has fired many kinds of factory ammo without flaw.  I have been using my own handloads for about a year and again, no problems. When S&W came out with the rebate, and I could get one for $255 after rebate, I couldn't pass on that deal. So now I have its twin in 9mm. If I had more spending money during rebate, I would have a .45 also. New rebate!!!!!!  Just too good a deal to pass up.  Will be getting the .45 soon.  It is a great gun.

I have a Shield 9, 40 and Performance Center Shield 9.  Decided to get a Performance Center Shield 45 because of the rebate too.  They've all been flawless and I especially like the triggers on the PC models.

Bought a 40 S&W Shield when they were first introduced.  Did the same when the 45 was offered.  The 45 is carried almost 100% of the time.  Great trigger on mine.  Can't go wrong with a Shield especially with the rebates being offered.
