Was going to go to the range today, but it started raining, I worked 3rd shift last night I'm off tonight and the bourbon was sounding pretty bleep tasty so with that and the rain should hopefully  be going tomorrow

I'm waiting impatiently on Primary Machine to release their stealth comp for CZs to complete my similar RMR'd UG P-07s I may have the grips stippled but am not sure the juice is worth the squeeze.

For sure - no way I'd choose to go back to irons only...

I kind of am waiting as well. I want to first Cajun this p07, might go with MAD for stippling, and would love to add a compensator.

Only issue is i live in New York and granted a compensator isn't illegal for pistols, but a threaded barrel is illegal for a semi auto pistol.  Debating on getting the barrel and comp and having a Smith pin and weld the comp on the barrel essentially making it a ported barrel which is legal

Looks like a really good setup!  Been thinking about mod'ing one of my polymer guns for a red dot but trying to decide between Glock 19 or 17 or CZ P07 or P09. Have 2 G19s (wife uses one just for a car gun) so was leaning that way, but was thinking it would take a lot longer to do, so didn't didn't want to to be without one of the guns for months, 25 days not bad at all!  If I may ask, what'd it run you on the slide?  Not counting the Trijicon red dot. Are those Trijicon HD iron sights?  As far as mounting location for rear iron sight, was there an advantage to mounting it in front of RMR?
Looking forward to a range report!

I was going to do this to my Glcok 17 that i chopped to take G19 mags, but then fell back in love with my P-07. and its a CZ suppressor front sight (i believe) and a modified Glock rear (well its a glock rear not sure who makes it) but again CZ front and glock rear.
Cost was $385.43, that was the milling for RMR, mill for the new rear sight, both the front and rear sights, and cerakote (its hard to tell but its their Spartan Bronze, subtle but i like it) they add the correct screws and antiflicker plate.

As for rears forward, i prefer that set up, i originally wanted rear, but after some reading and reasearch i dont see any need for them in the back other than clutter. up front will give the glass some protection, and out of the way until needed.  Also the cz slide doesnt leave much room due to design for sights rear. but again that doesnt bug me they are again back up sights so almost never used other than training because Trijicon lol

oh and that price was also with the return shipping (the least expensive option, so i could have gotten it back even sooner lmao) and then i shipped it to them using USPS and their flat rate small box and that i think was like $10

I was at first but then I got to thinking about it and I really do think it cuts down on the clutter vs if the sight was behind. Only real thing I have been able to hear as a negative is it's a shorter sight radius and well that's not an issue as they are back up sights and will only be used when training with the optic off or in a very very very rare chance the optic dies

My P07 (done by Primary Machine) is set up the same way as yours.  I asked about rear sight behind, or in front, of the RMR prior to getting the work done and got different reasons based on the forum I was on and/or who replied to my posts.

In the end, it doesn't bother me a bit that the rear sight is in front of the RMR.  I can see the back up sights just fine when I want to use them and the rear sight covers the same amount of RMR lens whether in front or behind.

Also, I can't help but believe the rear sight in front of the RMR gives the RMR a little extra protection from bouncing empties and burnt powder/gas residue.

I also "will not go back" to iron sights only.  If the RMR on my P07 croaks I'll send it back to Trijicon and take the RMR off my P09 to put on the P07 till I get it back.

Try something for me, when you go to the range.

Test the dot/parallax on the battery powered RMR for me.  I did this with my dual illuminated model:

1st shot with the dot on the left side of the lens but on the center of the target.
2nd shot with the dot on the top of the lens but on the center of the target.
3rd shot with the dot on the right side of the lens but on the center of the target.
4th shot with the dot in the bottom of the lens (sights did get in the way some so I couldn't go all the way to the bottom) but on the center of the target.
5th shot with the dot in the center of the lens and on the center of the target.

See what the group looks like.

Mine was a nice group in the center of the target even when the dot was not in the center of the lens.

To me this means if the dot is on the target, the bullet will hit the target, even if I'm in a hurry and haven't gotten the dot centered in the lens.

I would not have believed it would work that well had I not tested/shot it myself.
