Surfing you site and noticed TPU57CZ07 Fully Adjustable Rear Sight, which also fits the CZ 75 factory cut.

Is that sight really so wide or is it the image captured by a wide angle lens???

Anyway what makes the new adjustable rear sight different and better???

Reading about the front sight requirements it seems the new adjustable rear sight may accommodate an XS Big Dot???

I'm not Schmeky, but the sight you linked to is an LPA sight, made in Italy. These new sights are developed by CGW and made by Dawson Precision, so you get a double warranty. The LPA sights are made for a few different manufacturer's firearms, while CGW designed these specifically for CZ pistols. Hope that helps!

I was wondering if there was more adjustment, a better fit or whatever made the new sights more desirable.
 Since the TPU57CZ07 are designed to fit many brands the fit is probably not as tight or complementary to the pistol. Maybe that's why they look so wide???

I suppose that may have something to do with it. Slides in most non CZ pistols (excluding the P-10c) are much wider, due to the frame/rail relationship of CZ's being reverse that of most other semi autos.

Take a look at the link in my post #62 for the  TPU57CZ07, which uses the standard rear sight height.

Still researching as my P-01 is going to CGW soon and found an old post from 2014 by Stuart commenting on the LPA sights.

Well, if anyone could tell you about anything CZ related, I hear Stuart is a wizard... So yeah. That's another point in the CGW sight's favor. I've only heard good things concerning the quality of the sights they sell.

Looking into a XS Big Dot novak rear sight to pair up with the Big Dot sight instead of their wedge rear sight for the P-01. It will cost me for the novak sight cut plus a set of P-01 sights for the front sight.
