Hi! From Per?.
« on: August 01, 2017, 11:25:24 PM »
Hi! Im from Per? and just bought my 2 first guns for self defense. 2 cz's, 1 cz 75 p07 duty and 1 cz p07. Got the 2 generations. Why? I just like to have both of them. Both are 380 , when i bought the guns it wasnt allowed to get a caliber higher than 380 (now you can have 9 mm, 40, 45...) but i murst say that you cant have any automatic guns (sad, i saw videos and in the us where you can own and shoot such types of guns).

I will post photos and tell you about my impressions. although i have a question but im not sure if i can make it in this section. Can i exchange magazines between the 1 and 2 gen czs? Thanks!

Sorry, missed this question. Yes you can. Also, not sure when or if you'll ever see the new P10c in Peru, but if you do, and if they also make it in .380, then those mags should fit as well.
Would like to hear more about how the .380 shoots. They don't sell the P07 in .380 here.

Welcome. Looking forward to your review as well as photos of both pistols and the magazines. Will be cool to see the roll marks on those P-07s.

Guys hello!i just picked up my 2 cz guns . 1 and 2 gen p07.. im so excited.A thing i noticed:

1. In the 1 gen cz p07 (Duty) the caliber says 9mm browning and not 380 like the 2 gen p07 (i know its the same its just curious).

2. In the 1 gen p07 the slide color seems to be quite different than the frame. In the 2 gen is the same black color (slide and frame) i will tell you about the performance.

By the way, how can i find the year of manufacture? I dont remember. :/

Greetins!!!!

P.d. i bought my first hp rounds,Hornady Critical Defense. What do you think about that brand? Thanks!

Thanks for the photos. It's great to see our friends to the south interested in CZ pistols.  Is anyone else in the states wanting one of these like I am, just because it's different.
CZ 75BD
CZ 75BD Compact (not PCR)
CZ SP-01 Tactical
CZ P-01
CZ P-07
CZ P-09
CZ P-10c
CZ 2075 BD RAMI
Canik55 Stingray C

That would be neat, indeed!
First, year of manufacture should be on the slide right side, up by the muzzle, with the proof marks and serial number. It's just the last two letter of the year.
First gen Duty was a different beast than now, and all of the poly pistols material was upgraded with the blend used for the P-09, so different color might happen, as my first gen Phantom is darker than my P-09.
Hornaday Critical Defense is an EXCELLENT "czoice" for defensive ammo - that's what's riding in my SP-01 Phantom right now.

That's for sure!

Cateto82.... I think the different caliber marking might just be the factory simplifying the rollmark or wanting a different one on the slide. The older Mod.83 and newer CZ 83 had "9 Browning" and "9 Browning Court" respectively.

Are the magazines restricted, i.e., ten rounds only?

Hi guys! No,no magazine capability restrictions. I can carry the 15 or 16 rounds. But we cant use lasers or silencer. What i noticed is when i put back the slide in the 1 gen p7 the barrel seems to be straight (to the frame). In the 2 gen p07 seems to be pointing up and the chamber pointing down. Nothing important i think? I just knowing the guns (i have them since yesterday). I will post pictures about that and tell you about the performance. i hope that the 1 gen gun will not have the frame bulgue issue.
