Trigger P-10 C trigger disappointment
« on: August 04, 2017, 09:54:02 PM »
Today I shot my PPQ and my P-10 C and the Walther shot so much better than the P-10. I don't know if I'll keep the gun or sink more money in it for a better trigger. Disappointed.

What made it so bad?

How many rounds through each gun?

I have the P-10C, PPQ, VP9 and P320. I am impressed with the P10, although I agree that my PPQ trigger is the best. While there is a little  grit in the P10c trigger it is just as good if not better than the 320 and VP9 IMHO. I do tend to think that the P10c has better recoil management than the other 3. Overall for me the PPQ is still first with P10c second

See numerous threads about the P10C's trigger smoothing out around 500 rounds, as do most CZ pistols.

Walther makes a nice trigger; I'm very happy with my PPS. And, I didn't like my P10C much either at first, but have since warmed up to it nicely.

I was disappointed when I tried a P10C as well. Just gonna have to wait for the PPQ 2.0

Fan boy as I am for the P-10C, the production pistol triggers are definitely different from the early T&E demo pistols sent out in December of last year.  Mine was as bad as my horrible P-07 when I first got it.  But all I have done is put in a Glock 4# firing pin spring and shot it a bunch and it is pretty darn good now, with no failures to fire.  (CGW hammer fixed the P-07)

I haven't done any polishing on the trigger bar or anything yet.  I'm holding off for the CGW parts/instructions.  I am sure we will have some excellent parts to work with late this year.  Until then, the Glock spring and several hundred rounds down range is all I needed for now.

That is why we are so lucky right now to have some many good pistol options. The PPQ clearly has a lighter trigger. I got rid of mine because the sights on top of the tapered slide seem like an after thought. The biggest issue for me with the PPQ is the muzzle rise. The pistol is accurate but when I run it fast it jumps all over the place in my hand. With the P10C I can keep the sight picture through the recoil impulse which is a big plus for me. I think I'm better with my VP9 right now so like I said we have some great options. David

So where are all these disappointing P10c guns being sold?  Loving my P10c.  Wouldn't mind picking up another for a disappointing price, to the seller that is.  I mean, it's used and a disappointment so I expect a discount.

PM me!

Yea I've been wondering the same thing. I don't own one but have handled 3 different examples now at 2 different shops and none exhibited any of the seemingly common complaints we're seeing here.

This whole "I'm going to sign up on the CZ forums and make my first post a P-10C complaint" is getting really old. Someone who has never contributed to this website has little standing when criticizing a gun that has been widely accepted as a great pistol, for its beta release no less!

If you don't like the trigger, oh well. Sell your firearm and move on. We don't need to be made aware of your disappointment. Send me your PayPal email address and I would be happy to take it off of you. Have fun with your muzzle flipping PPQ.

Maybe Armor should make a sticky like this...
" If you're disappointed in your P-10c post here. "
That way there wouldn't be 40+ threads complaining about it,  there would just be one.
" quitchurbitchin" , I think that's a word in the dictionary.

And here I'm just waiting for the S model to come out[emoji87] oh, how about a Kadet kit for the P10 while we're at it. [emoji16]
Seriously tho, if comparing the trigger to say my P01, no, it's not as good. But that would be comparing apples to tomatoes, not even in the same class. But for the most part the P10 feels like any other striker pistol I've felt. Every manufacturer has there good points and bad points.  You can pick something negative about every single one.

But really, IMO, this thread is pretty much going nowhere, time to stick a fork in it, it's done.
