I have acquired a neat single shot CZ 242 that is in great condition except the original rear sight was replaced by a really seriously screwed up bubba contraption that was sort of jammed into the rear dove tail. The fit was so poor that a lot of daylight could be seen through the slot. This rifle appears to be pre-WWII and there really isn't much info about it. CZ couldn't help on anything regarding it. Finding an original rear sight would be nothing short of a miracle. My question is...does anyone know of a more recent CZ rimfire that could be used as a substitute...that would match that dovetail ? It wont be period correct but it will be a great shooter.
