Range report of my Cajunized SP-01
« on: August 13, 2017, 03:46:08 PM »
Took my recently cajunized sp-01 to the range again today together with other toys. I have to say, man it was such a great fun shooting this baby!

It carries CGW pro package, 10x barrel bushing, EZ-D fiber optic sight set, 3lb 7oz SA and 7lb DA, 3mm reset. The trigger is smooth like butter.

Shoot two groups both at 10 yard, two hands gripping, free stand.

Picture #1, 50 rounds; pic #2, 40 rounds. Considering I'm really new to shooting, I couldn't be happier with this grouping.

Nice, I know the feeling my Cajunized SP-01 shoots lights out when I do my part.  :)

If you're new to shooting :o,  those groups are outstanding to say the least.
The pistol is important,  but it's the shooter that makes it happened.!

Even if he's not new to shooting, those groups are excellent from 10yds.

David told me two "bad" things about shooting cajunized guns when I had the chance talking to him over the phone: first, it will be like cheating; second, you won't have any excuse if you missed?

I heard a lot about how CGW 10x bushing would greatly improve the grouping/consistency, now I'm fully convinced.

I'm so new to the gun world that I'm still trying to figure out how to take the barrel out from this lovely baby. Will call David for rescue.

[edit] with the help from my fellow members here, I took the barrel out ;D

And that is exactly how it should shoot!   :D
