Possibly the next new "favorite"  ;D .....

Distressed Specialist...new for 2018

And to think that I worried about having too much patina on my A2 Commander.  I just need to carry it enough to look like this and I'll be fine.  You have to admit though, that Distressed Specialist is really good looking.

My A2 Commander is quickly becoming my new favorite. The V-bobs are getting jealous.

love the 715

First.... I can appreciate your admiration of the 715, second....my question is what about it really makes it your favorite.  I've always like the 715's from afar, finally got to hold one....never shot one....but in some ways seems different enough to be cool & awkward at the same time......thanks  :)

I liked my CCO as it was seriously accurate and reliable but I had to let it go since the officers size grip just did not work for me at all. I will eventually pic up another DW 1911 probably a full size like the Valor or the A2 if I can find one.
I had the same problem and added a S&A magwell which made the grip length perfect. Adds about a 1/4" to the grip. The other option is an 8 rd mag with the xgrip sleeve which is equal to the government/commander grip.

Yep I considered those options but at the point I decided the grip needed to be full size to work for me I went ahead and sold the CCO. I recently picked up a Valor black Commander which is working out very well. Great gun other than needing to blend the thumb safety to the frame so it doesn't eat my thumb up.

Nothing wrong with the Valor Commander. Good choice.

I bought a blued Dan Wesson .357 Magnum with 2-inch, 4-inch and 8-inch barrels in the mid 80's. It was my only revolver like, forever.

It's currently got the 8-inch barrel installed, as I bought a 4-inch Ruger SS .357, just because. (Can't have too many guns.)

That .357 Dan Wesson is a great revolver. You hit what you aim at, with authority.

I need to photograph it for the Dan Wesson calendar. They're hard to come by now.

My only DW 1911, so my favorite. A 2002 Pointman Major-XP, 45ACP Target model. Lives up to its name.

Currently has Nills target grip that I took off a Sig 1911 Target model

I sold two P07s to get my first DW Guardian 9mm. for some reason I just kept coming back to this one. range only. its just to pretty for anything else. already have a CCW anyway. shot it twice so far and it didn't disappoint. very soft for a lighter pistol. sights are great. i had a [RIA] it was alright. but this?....Hubba Hubba  :o one note. don't know if its me [prolly is] but im gettin a lil blister on my trigger finger right where the over travel screw is. thinkin bout changing that out
