To address some of the questions in this thread, there are multiple "configurations" of the P10C out on the US market right now. As others have noticed, sometimes it could be differences in sight paint that make a "configuration" unique, and other times it might be a different front slide insert, or breech face geometry, or maybe the rear slide plate and firing pin assembly fit together differently, etc... The thing to keep in mind is that every P10C to leave the factory has been proofed and test fired and runs as is.
@AX354486 had an excellent question:
The basis for my question why there seems to be conflicting opinions on the successful outcome of the HBI trigger I was wondering if early versions of either the pistol or even the trigger would suggest the reason for these seemingly random experiences. D1dramma appears to have a relatively early version with a happy result
Speaking on behalf of HBI, we have been compiling a database of serials, build dates, and unique configurations for P10C handguns here in the US. What we have noticed is that there is not any "good or bad", "early or late", "new or old" type of classification. It simply has to do with different component geometry and different parts configurations. Many of the P10C build "configurations" are a just little bit different.
We designed, tested, and validated our triggers in a variety of different P10C configurations. We are constantly buying and checking new P10C imports to insure that our triggers function 100%. We strongly encourage anyone encountering any type of issue with our triggers to contact us so that we can help you to determine the root cause of the problem and resolve the issue, whatever it might be.
Hope this info helps, again, if there is anything that we can do to either help or provide info for anyone please do not hesitate to PM us on the forum or call/email us. We are always here to help :-)
