Had to remove the HBI trigger from the frame to break the sharp edges on the fangs. Here are a couple of pics from where it had been rubbing previously.

Great pics.

Did you manage to smooth out the edges on the fangs, and if so, did it make an improvement?  I never even thought to try that as a way to make the Trigger more comfortable for me.

I got rid of the sharp edges but haven?t had an opportunity to shoot yet. If it still bites me I?ll remove the fangs/bumps completely. If that doesn?t do the trick...I?ll make my own. I need to make a rear sight anyway, none on the market do anything for me.

:o Wow, I wish I had access to that type of machinery.  Is that an "industrial" 3-D printer, or an injection molding machine?

It's a wire EDM.

Thanks for the response.  I had to Google what a "wire EDM" was, and watch a short YouTube video to get an idea of how they work.  They look like really impressive machines.

Edited to Add:  They also look like really expensive machines too, lol.

Yeah, they?re spendy. Roughly $150k but very accurate.

:o  I just about spit out my Pepsi...Wow!  When I said "really expensive", I was thinking "only" in the 10's of thousands.  That definitely rules out any possibility of acquiring my own wire EDM.   :'(

I can?t afford one either! But I get to use that one for personal projects on occasion.

Use it to make an extended safety lever for the P-07 and P-09 and you will sell 1000's of them!

I have the same complaint about the P-07/09 and the P01 Omega isn?t s huge improvement.

So my HBI trigger is totally fang-less now. No matter what I tried my finger wants to slide down to the bumps during shooting.
I think if the trigger face was truly vertical at the rear of travel it wouldn?t be an issue, but it goes beyond vertical and the bottom of the trigger is further back than the top.
I?ll try it this way first then start designing a new one if I still have issues...sadly it may be weeks before I can get some time on the EDM

I am very curious about the trigger biting issue. I have been shooting my P-10 on a regular basis and have not had any issues with the stock trigger biting my trigger finger. Is is peculiar to shooters who have large hands and thick fingers? My fingers are on the thin side and I find the stock trigger to be quite comfortable. Not casting stones just trying to understand the reason for the issue.
