Help, CZ P10C slide stuck....

...I had it apart last night, lubed it a bit and put 300 rounds through it today without issue. No stoppages, all ammo ran like butter. I got home, wanted to break it down, clean it up a bit and it is stuck in the position below. I can't see anywhere underneath in which it is stuck. I have no idea. It will go back on and function just fine but I can't get it past this position...

Don't panic.  I helped a buddy with this same problem not long ago.  Don't just yank the slide off. The slide stop spring has popped up out of the frame and is hanging on the slide disconnector notch.  You can see the spring barely visible in the 2nd pic.  If you just yank if off, it's gonna mangle the spring and damage the frame.  Insert a thin piece of metal into the slide and frame gap and slide it from muzzle to rear.  You'll feel it push the spring leg down.  Holding it in place, you'll be able to remove the slide. I used a 0.020" feeler gauge.

Thank you to earlan357, it is morning time, I'm refreshed so I got the slide to come off and it was exactly what he said.  I suppose needs to go back to CZ.

He bent the leg of the spring slightly inward so the tip was pressung harder under the ledge in the locking block.  If the problem comes back he'll send it in.

I have to say, kudos earlan357 for quickly diagnosing the issue and providing a simple solution (with detailed pics, no less)!  I love seeing "Help me!" threads so concisely solved in such a short amount of time.  I'm still really new here (and new to CZ guns), but I'm liking this forum more and more each day.

I posted this on several forums but this was the only one that gave me exactly what i needed.  I have bent the spring back under and will put another few hundred rounds through the gun to see what happens.  The gun functions great, regardless of this issue.

The good news today is that my second P10C fired another 200+ rounds today without a single malfunction.  I shot 100 rounds of Winchester 124gr FMJ, 70 rounds of Hornady 115gr JHP and 50 rounds of Hornady 135gr JHP.  So that's just over 500 rounds without fail.  The bad news is the same issue as the other day, the slide stop spring is popping out so I can't get the slide off without using a flat piece of metal to hold it down.   





It is hard to see but if looking straight on, the right frame has a slight bulge on the left side, whether the wire is sticking out or not, which I think allows the end of the spring to keep coming out.  Even when I tuck in back in, the bulge is there so it needs to go back to CZ.  Luckily for me, I have two of them
