Jim has worked on three of my firearms now. A Colt MK IV Series 70, a CZ-75B, and my wife's S&W M60 3" .38 Special. All work has been superb, communications, and turnaround time excellent. Not to mention his prices, which are a "best buy", IMHO.
With all Jim's action jobs he returns a product called "Gun Butter". He recommends it highly. If you have to buy the product it's a whopping $15 per bottle (1 0z.).
Today, I used Gun Butter for the first time after cleaning my Hi-Power. The results were incredible! A few drops on the rails and anywhere needing lube resulted in a pistol that cycled (by hand) ,so smoothly, .
At the very least try this stuff.
A good comparison for smoothness might be that standard lubes feel like 90 weight gear grease and this is 10 weight, by comparison.
Can't wait to try this on my Government Model!
