CZ SP-01, PCR D and RAMI vs. Glock Gen 3 17 and Beretta 92FS My Opinion

I go to my local range at least 1 to 2 times a week. I decided to do a comparison of the following CZ's vs. my Glock 17 (Gen 3) and my Beretta 92FS. There is a CCW class you can take before regular store hours and you can rapid fire, holster draw and fire and shoot at 5 ft all the way to 25 yards.

Let me just give you the Reader's Digest version of the comparison of the G17, 92FS and the CZ 75 SP-01.

1. The SP-01 just crushes them in terms of accuracy, follow-up shots and point of aim. Not even close even with rapid fire.
2. CZ 75 PCR D Compact vs. G17 and 92FS. The PCR wins this too although not as much as the crushing blow the SP-01 did. The PCR was more accurate, better follow through and better point of aim.
3. This was the shocker: My 2075 RAMI vs the G17 (could not compare the 92FS due to time constraints). The RAMI did better! I thought the G17 was going to win as a full size vs Sub-compact. But no! Even with the 10 rounder!

I shot Rapid fire, slow fire and draw and shoot ALL CZ's beat the other 2 (except the RAMI vs 92FS but my guess it would win too). I know I am a HUGE CZ fanboy and this just re-enforces why.

Don't get me wrong I like the Glock and the 92FS that's why I have them. But now I know why the CZ's are in a different world of its own. All of these firearms are in 9MM. This was JUST MY shooting and I am sure everyone here would have a different outcome. Either way this was a FUN comparison.

Pretty much why my last four pistol purchases have ben CZ!
It is possible that your Beretta and Glock like different ammunition than your CZ.
Even though my Beretta 96A1 is 40 cal, Ive learned over time it really likes WWB 165 gr vs any other FMJ Ive run through it.  The 1911s shoot their tightest groups to date with 230gr Herters Brass Case of all things FMJ.  The RAMI seems to well with anything 147 grain, but the PCR and full size CZs show their tightest groups with Win NATO 124gr.

That said, slow fired 96A1 and 1911 almost keep up with he CZs.  Increasing the speed of fire, they suck in comparison to CZ.  In both cases, the huge side to side gap between the front sight and rear (especially Beretta) are no doubt contributing to "combat accuracy".  One of these days, I may address the A1's sights more suitable for target shooting, but not until after I contract some cajun work for a full size CZ!

The stock CZ comes in last for categories of trigger reset and gritty hammer feel, yet it still wins out overall.
