I feel pretty confident that CZ will take care of me and am willing to wait the predicted 4-6 weeks if need be. I'm going to include for them a full list of issues I experienced yesterday so hopefully it comes back remedied. If for some reason it isn't performing as well as I know it should be when I get it back, I will probably just sell it and get a different gun that has a good reputation and has been around longer..and isn't a striker haha

P-10 first impressions..yikes

How is it people purchase a pistol, bring it home and then declare the trigger pull as "trash"?

I always dry-fire the pistol and work the slide and magazine release prior to purchase.

Double feeds are magazine-related. Mark the offending magazine and try a different magazine. Send offending mag back to CZ-USA with a well written letter (after speaking with someone first, of course).

Failure to eject?

Do the cartridges partially clear the breech or do they just lie there stopping the next round from being fed? It matters. Check your Extractor tension and the nose or "hook" of the extractor.  This is odd because the pistol is fired and a group is provided in your package.

Failure for the slide to lock the slide rearward upon the last shot?

USUALLY human "error". I don't mind that but I understand. Check your grip. You may be applying pressure on the mag catch.

At any rate, I hope they correct whatever the root causes are and send you a pistol worthy of owning.

It will more than likely go to a pawn shop for some other poor soul to deal with.
So instead of sending back to the mothership and getting it fixed free of charge, then selling, you're just gonna let the next guy have to pay money to get it fixed?[emoji848]

I purchased this firearm from gunbroker and didn't have the opportunity to play with it before receiving it. I also expected this pistol to have a certain, small amount of break-in as far as the trigger goes, as most guns do, so there was no reason for me not to accept it after my initial inspection at my FFL. My P-07 didn't have a spectacular trigger when I first received it, but it's amazing now.
Do the cartridges partially clear the breech or do they just lie there stopping the next round from being fed?
As far as this goes, no, the rounds don't actually stovepipe, the remain parallel to the rest of the rounds in the magazine. I will make a separate comment with a photo from my very first malfunction.

Concerning the slide refusing to lock back, like I posted before, normally I wouldn't be afraid to admit it had I been doing something wrong, but I know for a fact that I wasn't. As stated before, I believe limp wristing would have caused a malfunction in my other firearms well before this if it was an issue and my small hands don't really cause my thumbs to come anywhere near the slide or the slide release when holding this particular firearm. I do appreciate your insight and interest though, I will keep everybody posted with progress.

Below is an image I forgot I took of the very first round I fired and the failure that occurred, in case anybody was interested. This exact type of failure is what I experienced time and time again. Not your typical stove-pipe type failure.

My friend had the same exact issue.  Originally he had the problem where the slide stop spring pokes up out of the frame.  He sent it into CZ and it was returned with a new front rail/locking block.  This was well after he sent the slide to CGW for RMR milling which worked fine up to this point.  He only had CGW cold blue the RMR cut, so we ruled out the RMR/CGW or any re-finishing as the cause of the problem.

We went over every inch of the gun to figure out the problem.  Other than the front rail/block, all other parts were factory.  I think the rough oxide finish on the front rails and barrel lockup area needed to be worn off, and the extra resistance was preventing the slide from fully retracting.  He hand cycled the snot out of it (no lube) until his fingers were raw, but after that it has done 400 rounds without issue since I last talked with him.

OP how much lube is/was on the gun when you started shooting and had malfunctions?  I am amazed at how many people take guns out of the box and just start shooting. I stand on the line and watch people's shoot at work.  90 percent of the malfunctions I see are corrrcted with some generous lube on the slide rails and barrel hood.  Everybody runs these guns bone dry and start to get cycling issues and complain about a gritty trigger.  The shipping oil is not gun lube by the way.  CZ use to mechanically cycle every 75B 500 times is an oil bath at the factory.  I would guess they don't do that anymore.  I wonder if a good cleaning and generous lube would help the issue.  David

Every time I purchase a new firearm, the first thing I do is take it down and give it a thorough cleaning, removing all the factory lube/grease and then (for at least the first session) liberally apply a new coat of lube myself. I understand where you're coming from though. I've watched so many people run their guns bone dry and then wonder why they have issues. After an experience I had several years ago during a .50 cal gunnery while I was still in the army, I will never under-lubricate my weapons again if I have the lube available.

You should see the new ones! They have a safety switch now and don't require headspace adjustments as the barrels just slide in and out basically.

So sorry you are having issues with your new CZ 10-PC. Bought mine about a week ago and it has performed flawlessly on every trip to the range. I've had several handguns over the years that had issues from day one. Each time I sent them back to the manufacturer and they either repaired them or in some cases replaced them. I would definitely give CZ a chance to make it right. I hear that their Customer Service Department is very responsive. Most manufacturers quote 4-6 weeks turnaround time but based on my experience it turns out to be much less time. Good luck! By the way, I always shoot 147 grain ammo.
