What CGW upgrade to get next....

Ok so yesterday work did a Halloween party (costume contest) they had some cash prizes. Mainly we are talking about, first place from all 3 buildings plus all 3 shifts for group  is $300. 

Long story short buddy of mine was like yo i got this extra get up want to be part of our group costume. So I said yes.

Ok so back to the important part.

So pretty sure we are going to win. And so with my c note trying to think what I should upgrade next.

(I already have the self defense spring kit and the reduced power return trigger spring)

So I'm trying to decide to get either

1) the short reset kit

Or

2) billet hammer

Short rest before hammer IMO. Hammer is a great upgrade, but would never come before short reset for me.

I'll give you the exact opposite advice.  I have two P-09's, one with the Cajun race hammer and short reset kit, one has stock hammer and lighter hammer springs.  The reset is almost the same on both, so close I can barely tell the difference, but the break with the Cajun hammer is night and day better.  Think crisp break vs weak mush, the crisp break is way more worth it.

That's what I'm thinking, granted the SA is already pretty nice, the DA isn't horrible and I know the hammer will make it even better, but 50% shorter of a reset sure is hard to pass up

Not to mention once I get all the slide internals upgraded that means less need to hammer out those pins, so in my mind that frees up my slide to maybe hold off on the hammer and skip right to getting my threaded barrel and stealth comp then getting them perm. attached (cause bleep new york, compensator is aokay, threaded barrel is the only no no part of the equation)

So I'm the dude in the middle, but I'm borrowing the one dudes gear,  both the other guys have a group (they made all their gear, lights even sounds and the ghost busters music, it's even more impressive in real life) they go to events and cons set up booths and donate what ever money they get to a children's hospital

And it was announced today we did win. Next step get that money and hopefully order my short reset kit
