I'm just not a striker fan. My P-07 with the mods I've made is the only plastic gun I own and I'd not be willing to give it up for anything else. I think the metal framed CZ compacts are a far better option than anything striker fired as well. Love my PCR!
100% agree with this. I carry my PCR FAR more often than any other gun I own. Followed closely by P-07 if I?m going to be carrying all day sweating in the woods hunting or out fishing. I haven?t modified either one other than the sights.

The p07/09 are such flat shooters, the felt recoil is really non existent. For that reason alone I like them both better than the p10c (which I still like)

For a week now I've been carrying my po7 because my po9 is at primary machines getting the slide milled for an RDS, I put the mags in from the PO 9 in my PO 7,  still extremely comfortable to carry. Both are phenomenal Shooters at both are easy to carry.

On a side note my p09 slide arrived at primary machines this past Tuesday and they were done  and already shipping it by Thursday. Incredible turn around,  can't wait to get it in my hands this coming week ,probably Monday. I'll post pictures.

Wow what a quick turnaround!  Shoulda sent my G19 there instead of a LGS who said they do milling for RDS. After 2 months waiting they informed me that THEY don?t actually mill them but send them to some guy in GA to have done. Hell, I could have sent it off somewhere myself. Should have gotten clarification I reckon, will know better next time. Let us know how your P-09 turns out and which RDS you used. Right now I have a dovetail mounted FastFire III in my P-09 and it works well. Having a Vortex Venom slide cut mounted in the G19 but considering having the P-09 slide milled vs the dovetail mount. Will compare the two IF I ever get my G19 back that is.

I'm new to both and I have both.

I'm liking the P-07 more. It's a better pistol for my requirements.

I wish the P-07 had more aggressive stippling and had stippling all the way up the side of the pistol for a strong support hand grip position.

My 07 has been to CGW and has the Pro Grade option and their/CZ Custom night sights.

Perfect carry pistol.

Having a slide milled for an RDS gives it a much tighter fit and lower profile.
Here's a link to primary machines.

I have a P-10 but never held a P-07. What is the trigger reach length of P-07 in DA mode compared to p-10? I need a very short trigger reach length, P-10 fits me very well. TIA

I have both the P-10 and the P-07.

They're about the same gun, I feel the 07 is a bit sleeker.  Less aggressive texturing makes it a better candidate IMO for IWB, particularly appendix IWB.

Both shoot about the same.  The real difference is DA/SA vs Striker and while I have plenty of both systems, I feel the DA/SA is superior, many hate the two different trigger pulls and will lean striker.  Neither trigger wowed me, and neither disappointed.

The 07 feels like a real CZ.  It has that low slung slide due to the Slide-In-Frame design whereas the 10 just feels like a Czech Glock 19.  That's not terrible mind you, but part of what makes a CZ a CZ is that Slide-In-Frame and hammer fired goodness.

In my heart of hearts I suspect CZ only made the P10 because of the competition and they had to make something glock-ish to succeed.  I don't think they sat around and came up with the P10 because they wanted to, they just had a task and in their typical Czech fashion did a good job at it, but it doesn't organically feel like a CZ.

I finally have a few hundred rounds through my P-10 C.  I never had a P-07, but I've gone through a couple of P-09s.  CZ's hammer-fired plastics are nice guns.  The triggers can be made to feel pretty good.  Recently, I had to sell one of them.  I held onto the P-10 C b/c its grip offers far better traction, as well as ergonomics in general.  I don't think the P-07/09's grip resembles, at all, the 75's, which we've all come to love and enjoy.
Pretty much a CZ fanboy.

Both are excellent guns and really think it just comes down to what your preferred system is, DA/SA vs striker fired.  I think the P10c is slightly flatter shooting for me and is a little bit easier to get hits at speed, again this is for me as it's pretty subjective.  Don't think you can go wrong with either gun really.

I actually took the P10c out for my first ever IDPA Classifier after shooting a couple matches unclassified and got a SS classification in SSP which was pretty happy with being new to competition shooting.

I, too, own a P-07 UG and a P-10. Being as fair and impartial as I can despite my rough beginnings with my P-10, I would still choose the P-07 all day. That thing is rock solid and with a few parts from CGW, can be even nicer.

I'm another that has both plus the P01..I like all 3 very much. They are all accurate, well made, fit and finish is good, there just isn't things to dislike. I'm close to being as accurate with all three. Striker fired guns are relatively new, within the last 5/6 years and double/single go back decades with me. At the range there's no difference but I like the double /single action for defense, I think it's safer.

Interestingly my wife asked me which gun I'd sell since I have 3, I couldn't decide, I like each one for different reasons, in fact I'm looking to buy another ( sp01 Phantom or just SP01)

I like the P-07 better after running a few drills with it this weekend.

The P-10C is easier to shoot well, being striker-fired. It also has a more ergonomic grip (it's not flat sided) and has more aggressive stippling.

The DA is traditional and since the pistol was purchased from CGW with the Pro Grade, it's just phenomenal: once I stop thinking about the DA pull and focus on the drill there isn't much between them - except I still get slide bite on the P-07 occasionally as I end up with such an aggressively high grip coming out of the holster.

The P-07 mitigates recoil better, too.

So now the P-10C and a few other things are being replaced which will reduce overall numbers and complexity.

I'm glad I took the risk to try the P-10C and was/is impressed because it led me to take a HARD look at other pistols in the CZ USA lineup.

The P-07/09 is arguably the pistol on the market.
