New to me Kadet, what years were they produced?

picked up a cz75 the other day with kadet kit. the 75 dated "95" and the fitted kadet kit looks to be dated "70".
i'd expect the kadet to be no earlier the 75?
i tried a search here and google, didnt see much. any info would be appreciated. thx!

The numbers previous to the dancing lions, is the fabrication date.. For example, mine is 08 = 2008

proly is 90. sure looks like 70. did they start making kadets in 1975?

Since the CZ 75 wasn't introduced until 1975

I would say that the CZ75 KADET didn't come before the Egg .... or was that the Chicken ?

It's a shortened version of probably...no different than typing an acronym because it's easier.
