Recommend A Shop To Refinish My CZ 82
« on: November 16, 2017, 10:25:12 PM »
Would really like to my CZ 82 look cosmetically as great as it is mechanically. I really like to looks of palepainter's shown in this thread (reply # 8)http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=42252.0. I know my limits and I do not have the talent nor the time to do it myself so please don't tell me to do it yourself. I shoot them I don't work on them! So, if I can get recommendations of an individual or shop that can do the project I would greatly appreciate it.

I haven't used him, but was going to send my CZ82 (which has significant finish wear!) to him for a hard-chrome finish.

Since then I've had a change of heart and would just like my CZ82 to have the normal full bluing.  I don't want to Cerakote it since I've heard a number of stories about how the extra width on some components affects slide functioning--my CZ82 shoots very well and I don't want its function ruined by a bad finish job.
