OWB for P-01 while working

Employees at the gun store where I work wear OWB holsters for the duration of the day.  I have an SP-01 tactical that is my primary USPSA pistol but it's a heavy beast for all day on your feet with occasional seat time to run background checks and other sales operations at the PC.

My Blade-Tech IDPA competition pack, with belt or paddle attachments works fine in short bursts but is a pain for use all day.  After spending time with the lighter P-01 at the range, I ordered one for work use only, and should have it by month's end.  Any thoughts on a paddle and/or belt holster for the P-01 that maximizes comfort?  Vertical or canted right hand carry is fine.  I'm almost tempted to get a shoulder holster, actually...thanks.

Mitch Rosen leather can do P-01 now, you can order their express Express Line online.  I think it's classy and very comfortable.  $75 plus shipping

Otherwise, Red Hill Tactical could do a custom kydex with something a little flashy, just for fun.  Recommend the "loops" for the attachment to keep the holster closer to the body and lighter. $40-75 plus shipping

Try mtrcustomleather.com I have one of there deluxe full size quick snap owb holsters for P 01.  Easy on and off. Very well made and comfortable. Good price as well. Have been  using mine daily for over 1 year no problems. Just ordered one for a  Dan Wesson Specialist. Good luck

You may want to look at Safariland.  The 578GLS (Wide standard) for a P0-1, will do the paddle/belt loop criteria however, with an adapter (that they offer) you can also attach it to a one or two strap drop leg holster which should provide more support.
Considering the quality, and if you don't buy it from Safariland the price isn't awful.  I have found Optics Planet to have some of the best pricing as well as their web pages are a great deal more user friendly than Safariland's.

I?ve had superb success with my OWB leather holster from Privateer Leather.

You probably know, but a good belt in concert with a good holster can make carrying a gun all day much more comfortable.

I haven't had to open carry on duty since the service from 81-85, and USPSA holsters are a different beast. There are so many options for leather it's easy to get lost! Thanks for your suggestion.

I have the Comp-Tac International that works great for the P-01 and the SP-01 both. I use the Paddle attachment. This is what I use for IDPA.

I also have the metro from Detroit Holster Shop. If you want something that rides high and tight it's great.
It conceals pretty well with just a loose shirt over it.

I just received my leather Craft Holsters for my P-01 and SP-01 Tactical.  I wore the (heavier) SP-01 all day today at the shop, and it was night and day more comfortable than the BladeTech IDPA competition holster I have.  I'll wear the P-01 tomorrow and post pics later after that.

I have heard good things about Dara holsters OWB kydex. May be worth checking out.
