Apparently we didn't win the lottery
« on: January 01, 2018, 03:23:19 PM »
And neither did I. We discovered that the kitty grows empty, and we must needs refill it slightly, at least to pay bills. What I always want to do is  get enough from various places to offer the Memorial to Independence big prize but we may not be able to do that this year, just keeping the lights on.
We haven't had to do this in quite some time, almost forget having to do it, BUT...I guess it's time for a fund raiser.
HOWEVER...we are moving the forum account, so stash aside anything you would like to send, (other than rotten tomatoes and spoiled fruit, you may donate those to my next door neighbor at any time), and we should have a new spot soon.
If/when you can help, it's always appreciated. If not, no worries - membership here is always free, never a cost to anyone to be here, and we appreciate each and every one of you! I also know times aren't the best, though getting better on some fronts. Been there, done that, puked on the t-shirt.  ::)
No matter what, we are glad you are here!

ETA:

If you would like to donate to the cause, you can send a check (payable to 'David Esch') to this address:

David Esch
PO Box 4105
Arizona City, AZ 85123

Please remember, this is not a business (we make nothing off of the site - quite the opposite) and also, donations are not tax-deductible.

We plan to do an annual accounting of what comes in and goes out for any who wish to know.

Happy to help. Just let us know when you set up the donation system.  It seems like the model of group funding but choice sure can make things work.

As soon as my blood detoxes from the holidays, I will donate. ;)

Let us know what, who and where.  We already know why.....to help support the best forum on the net.

I wonder what people think of donating CZ parts to the forum (grips, sights, etc.) and other members can buy it and sending the payment to a forum treasurer or an appointed moderator.  When the moderator receives the payment, the donor sends the buyer the part?

It can be other parts too, AR parts, magazines, etc. as long as there is some demand for it.

I've received so much help and good info from the contributing members on this forum.
Happy to reciprocate with some cash or extra parts for a fundraising auction.
Thanks.  LMK
