Found this last night as I was installing mine. Don't know who Norm is but did well if you ask me. Only thing he doesn't mention is degreasing the adjustable safety screw/threads prior to install. Maybe someone else can use it as well.

Looks like the whole job, from start to finish, takes less than 1/2 hour. I have been considering a a CGW trigger for my P100... I may go with the whole kit after seeing this.

I worked about 2 hrs but I polished everything in the smoothing thread listed by schmeky by hand so. Those mechanically inclined and with a good punch set hammer and block/roll of tape should be in it for about 45min or so. Was really simple actually. If you're a little ocd might take you longer because you will feel like well I have it apart  better deep clean it then well I  have it apart better polish it etc. Dang trigger return spring was hardest for me.

Thanks to Norm, whoever and wherever he is lol

I might be wrong, but it seems to me there is a law against pulling it apart without at least smoothing up a bit. Of course you could call it practice for when you pull it apart again to do it

I think an hour is a safe plan disregarding moon gravitational pull etc, plus whatever time you need to get level you want to go to on smoothing/polishing. Now, none of that includes time spent looking for springs and rewatching the video. First time I did one I had nightmares about springs for a week afterwards. Have the CGW trigger pin on hand too....you have been warned.

Best plan is have your SO do it, smaller fingers, and probably slower to frustrate.

All kidding aside my T-100s  have  been opened up and upgraded to the point that they are more appreciated with every shot. If I could just figure out how to make it a .45.....

For those desirous of a Cz Clone in .45 ACP, the Full Size EAA Witness in .45 ACP will satisfy that craving and do it with ease!
While it will never be as small and concealable as your T100, it can be concealed.
I carried the older one for about 6 Winters in either a Don Hume IWB Holster behind my right hip or a vertical shoulder rig.

I've always been curious about the K2 45 JWC. How would you compare it to the current tanfos in terms of trigger, reliability, customizability etc?

Currently, they are not being imported, as TR Imports, the current Sarsilmaz Importer, is not yet bringing them in, and may not.

Stock Triggers are about the same as the Tanfoglio's

Feed Reliability is better on the Tanfoglio's, handling Flat Point Bullet Shapes better.  My SAR K2 45 hates Flat Points and is picky about Hollowpoints, but I plan to do some polishing to remedy that.  I should have done it by now, but I've had so many other things to do, and my .45 Witnesses have just been my "go to" .45's out of habit.

Customizability easily goes to the Tanfoglio with more optional parts available. https://www.henningshop.com/tanfoglio_parts_pr-9249.aspx

The SAR has but only one Grip Maker and even they only do occasional runs.

I currently have a stock, except grips and internal smooth/polish, .45 Witness Match Elite. It is at my bedside and also a great range plinker. It has been 100% reliable and a joy to shoot for well over 1000 rounds

For a short time I owned a Witness full size steel in 9mm. Soft recoil, pretty straight shooter, that was 100% reliable and easily concealed in a briefcase. It was an impulse buy since I couldn?t find it in .45 at the time. I broke even on sale and preferred to replace with the Match Elite for a .45 because it is purty and has a great SAO trigger

I seldom carry the T-100, preferring the wee amazing 9mm Sig P938 and if dress permits a 4.25? alloy 1911 in .45 that conceals better on me than the T-100 for some reason even with its installed thin grips. More true perhaps is that I am more tolerant of the same weight and size in .45.
