I am still waiting for my new 99041, and after reading this tread I had to pull the trigger and get me one of these.
Looks like nice gun. Don't know much about Shadow line because I don't like their look. I am old fashioned and I prefer the look of my 75B. What good is if the gun is good shooter, when you hate to look at it  ;D
After reading the comments here, and after reading the specs on the gun, I decided to go for it.
I still have some concerns, and my biggest one is the grips on this gun. First, I hate the look of aluminum grips, but my biggest concern is how is this gun going to fit in my hand. I am big boy (6 ft 6) and have large hands. My pcr fits me well, but that gun doesn't have aluminum grips.
I'll see when it arrives. If I don't like it, I'll store it, and judging by posts here, chance is that I'll be able to get my money back, once I decide to sell it.

Or you could change the grips to something you like.

Cruel and unusual punishment (just kidding, of course)....I've seen enough of these pics on the 4m and have to ask....can these (Klinsky grips) be purchased in the US....either from a US distributor or direct/shipped from the manufacturer (or EU distributer)?

A forum member recently posted that he bought vz 50/70 grips via the Klinsky web site.

Anyone planning on carrying these?  Would really only consider purchasing if it could fit a carry role but haven?t carried a gun without a FPB.  Is the main concern that the gun could discharge if dropped on muzzle?

I plan on carrying mine. Just got it, cleaned it, lubed it and went and hammered 12" plate at 40 yards.  This thing is amazing.  Even my LGS buddy shot it and loves it.

I carry series 70 from time to time, I never worry about a discharge.

Wow. I have a Shadow Line 75 (91166); would love to have the compact, too.
I never expected these to be available.

I will be carrying mine. having it milled for a red dot and a little trigger work. No Firing Pin block is no problem. My original CZ 75 (1984) did not have a firing pin block, carried it for years.

No Fn way I would ever carry that... God forbid I had to use it, I know I would have zero chance of ever getting it back

This looks to be a IDPA CCP dream gun... does anyone know if this for sure will fit in the box?

I guess I'm still a little confused why you would want this if not for competition. If it's for carry, why remove the FPB? And if it's a bed side gun, why not just get a full size?

No one is removing the firing pin block, it does not have one to remove.

I realize that. When I say "remove the firing pin block" that is in comparison to the standard compact.
