I can already envision the FB and forum feuds now. It was hard enough before to explain CZ compact model differences to new guys. Now...

Everything looks exactly like a PCR other than the roll mark.

Odd

Sure looks that way.....mags are metal base as well (PCR). PCR with a P-01 rollmark, as you suggested (assuming it's alloy). Weird that it's a PCR sight/sight cut on slide
 with a P-01 rollmark.

It?s alloy

It?s a PCR with to the T except for the roll mark

I tried calling CZ to see if this was some sort of anomaly but they are closed lol

Neat. I like oddities. It happens, probably grabbed the wrong slide when running through the roll mark machine. Probably on a Monday after a long weekend.

There were quite a few of the low-profile PCR type sights on the railed models back around 2000-2002 during the introductory period of the railed D Compact model. Some came in as surplus pistol sales a couple years ago. Don?t think those used the P-01 roll mark on the slide. CZUB...mixing and matching as always

Maybe the bean counters in their infinite wisdom upon realizing the p01 and pcr, and compactD slides were all the same before roll marking consoladed them into one part.  A couple less bins on the manufacturing floor saved them trillions of dollars...  Who knows maybe once this old stock of slides is done we'll start seeing a common rollmark of "generic slide number 2 with FSS and LCI", etc. That can ride on top of frames with rails or not, steel, STAINLESS steel, or Al, fitted with threaded barrels or not...

The PCR slide is a little different with the LCI

Oh, I thought the LCI and front slide serrations were also on the P01.
