Our Outlaw 3-Gun match requires our rifle to be mounted on a single point sling. This is because we transition between rifle and pistol often and the gun club wants the rifle muzzle pointed straight down when slung, not off to the side.
The PMM Sling Mount is perfect to accomplish this on the Scorpion Carbine. The sling mount comes in a left and right side version. I now own both and wanted to share the nitty gritty details about them.

This is the left side sling mount on the left side of the receiver. This was the first version that I purchased
I have two very minor issues with this setup
a. My nose sometimes touches the sling swivel because it is so close. I have the OEM folding stock and keep it in the middle position.
b. The sling mount obstructs the ability to remove the folding butt stock

This is the right side sling mount on the left side of the receiver.
This configuration places the sling swivel further from the butt stock so no more nose touching the sling swivel. The butt stock can also be removed now.
A few more nitty gritty details
The sling mount screw requires a T-10 Torx Screwdriver (not included)
If you install the right side sling mount on the right side of the receiver, the folding butt stock will not fully close by more than an inch.
If you install the left side sling mount on the right side of the receiver, the folding butt stock will not fully close by just a fraction of an inch.
The product is extremely well made. Super fast shipping. I just wished I knew the above issues before placing my two orders.
