Scorpion with excessive jams...
« on: January 18, 2018, 11:11:06 PM »
Hello everyone!  :D First time poster here. A lil about myself. Ive been a gun fan since i was a teenager, enjoying competition shooting like 3 gun, USPSA, precision rifle and just enjoying any range time i can. Nice to meet yall!  ;D Now the rub...I purchased an S1 when they first came out a few years back and since then have added goodies and SBRed it. I have approx. 15 30rnd factory mags and 2 20rnd factory mags, an HB spring kit, charging handle, flat trigger all topped off with a T-2 micro. I love the look and feel of the gun but from new ive had reliability issues. I get anywhere from 2 to 10 jams a 30rnd mag but every now and then i can get a full mag to run flawless. Ive tried different weights, brands, types of ammo, different mags, ive tried running it dirty, clean, cold and hot. Ive read how well everyone else's evo runs so well and I can't help but feel jealous.  :'( Anyone else run into anything like this before? Any tips? Tricks? I appreciate your help!

Ike

Check the alignment of the barrel chamfer and feed ramp.

Check the alignment of the barrel chamfer and feed ramp.
This, if its not cut right could def. be the cause.
