Hold on a minute, I just looked on the CZ website and the aluminum compact guide rod is shown on page 11 of the spare parts for compacts heading. It's in stock and price is $18.00. It is 1:35 AM on Saturday morning.

I must be going crazy.
I went again, and could not find it. Are you talking about CZ Custom site ? If so, I see only 6 pages there (not 11).
Can you please post the link to it ?
Thanks !!!

Interestingly, the Shadow Line Compact has a steel guide rod in its alloy frame. It protrudes slightly outside the frame hole when installed.

I have the aluminum ones on my PCR and my two PO1s. Just want to point out they are covered with a black polymer type coating that I assume to help with ?sliding? of the recoil spring.
