Interest in threaded barrel?

Hey guys, joined a long time ago when I had a P-01, foolishly sold it few years ago. Recently decided to put the glocks away and give CZ's another run  - recently picked up a p-07 and 09. Been mostly reading/lurking for the last month or so and shamefully,  slowly trying to build my post count to be able to post stuff for sale.

I am looking to pick up another p-09, and have a possible trade in the works which would land me a Suppressor Ready p-09. I don't have any real use or desire for the threaded barrel or the tall sights. I can just deal with replacing the sights, hopefully sell them if anyone had any interest.

But are there folks here that would be interested or willing to trade a standard 09 barrel for a threaded one?

Ultimately, I really wanted a Urban grey or FDE p-09 and I am wondering if I should just pass on the trade and get what I really want - but I do like the idea of not coming out of my wallet for the next p-09 but it come with the hassle of swapping sights and barrel.

What do you guys think?

With some patience you shouldn?t have trouble trading or selling those items. There is usually someone wanting to go that direction with a regular P-09

I also wanted an FDE P09 and went that route. I would ditch the threaded barrel if I had someone that wanted to trade.

Either way, you can get an OD green P09 now with night sights for like, low $500's. Looks closer to FDE than green to me; however, just a thought. Hope it helps!

That sounds like a really good option, because one of these 07/09's will go into a carry role and a front night sight is what I prefer for a carry gun. I am seriously considering chopping one of the 09's grip to make a 07/L for my carry.

Shouldn't have to much issue selling those items.

I was looking at a P-07 Mexico but really wanted a threaded barrel. I was looking to see if anyone had one cheaper than the $180 asking price that is readily available. In the end just paid the Suppressor Ready price and I'll pick up a regular barrel in the future.
