Wow, I'm very surprised that CGW would recommend that. And you use 2000 grit too?

When I polish all my stuff, I only use Flitz. Zero sand paper. It's not gonna be as nice as someone who uses sandpaper, but this pretty much guarantees it'll still function.

yeah i definitely used 2000, and was very very careful, or so I thought.

maybe I'll do that, but to be honest the trigger is so nice I doubt i'll notice and not touch the pin it's too much worry for too little gain.

Definitely. On the bright side, if you get a CGW floating pin, it?ll already be smooth and not require polishing[emoji12].
The roller bearing makes the biggest difference. Maybe get a hammer while you?re ordering from CGW anyways.

I thought the floating pins are for metal guns only? per their site it is.

so I called up cajun and got to speak to David and he was very gracious in dealing with me and my newness, he walked me through diagnosing the issue of the trigger bar spring and exactly why taking the tension off too much caused the hammer to not fall, even though I had already fixed the issue myself he explained the reasoning of why it wasn't working in the first place, that was awesome.

I then sheepishly told him I tried my hand at the smoothing and polishing the parts and what happened at the range and my missing TRS  :-[

so got new TRS on the way and new pin, all should be well. 8)

I couldn?t remember the details. The reason why you don?t need them with the P0 is because they already have floating pins. I?m not sure if they will fit or not.

David and Scott are absolute treasures and one of the reasons I chose a CZ as my first gun.
