Lost my disassembly plate/takedown Spring! :(

Well, not too happy as I lost my disassembly plate/takedown spring(number 30 in my manuals schematic). This is the spring that holds the plate up that keeps the slide from sliding off the frame. CGW sells a steel block that goes with the spring but no spring that I can see on their website. Anyone know where I can get one besides sending my gun to CZ and having to wait several weeks? Thank you for any possible help you can provide. I feel like vomiting right now. :(

If you contact CZ-USA Warranty Service and tell them what happened I am sure they will mail you a replacement spring. They did it for me when the tip of my striker broke off so I wouldn't have to send my P-10 back to them.

I just got off the phone with CZ-USA Warranty Service and they are open today. I asked about mailing you the small spring you lost and they said no problem. Simply call them by 4:00pm today or during business hours on Monday and they will mail you the spring.

I know how you feel since I almost lost my spring when I was installing the HBI trigger. It took me about a half hour but in finally found it on my desk. Its so small its hard to see it. One thing I learned is to keep your thumb over it when pulling the slide release tab out.

Didn't have to call. Zachary from customer service emailed me this morning and is is sending out a replacement, thank goodness! I'm so relieved. :)

Now that is EXCELLENT customer service. It is nice to know that we have purchased guns from a company that takes care of us after the sale. I've been a major CZ fan for many years. I guess I will not be changing any time soon.  :)

Now that you are getting a replacement spring from CZ Warranty Service are you going to purchase the t-block from Cajun Gun Works? I've thought about it but decided not to.

I considered purchasing that part, but if my Wife catches me spending any more money on gun parts I'm likely to find myself homeless. :)
