White Number on P-10 C Trigger
« on: February 11, 2018, 11:29:52 AM »
Just signed up to the forums and this is my first post.  I've owned a couple of CZ 452 rifles in 22lr for a while but just got my first CZ pistol.

I just picked up a new CZ P-10 C and noticed that there is a number written on the side of the trigger in white marker.  I'd been wanting one of these for a while and just happened upon this one in my LGS.  After a brief handling and feeling the trigger I picked it up and took it home.  The lighting wasn't the best in the shop and I didn't spot this until getting home.

The gun seems great and I'm not really concerned about this, just curious as to what it might mean.  I think I can just scratch it off with my finger nail.

Unfortunately I live in the east and am in the middle of the rain storm so I haven't had a chance to try shooting it yet.

Thanks for any helpful info!

Welcome to the forum. Don't remember that on mine although mine is a black model and not FDE. I have since changed the stock trigger to an HBI flat trigger but I checked the stock trigger I removed and there is no writing on it. Not sure why yours has that.

Thanks for the response.

Yeah, like I said, I can't see any harm in it but was just very curious.  I hadn't seen any pictures of other guns with this type of marking nor can I find any mention of such a thing.

Migjht be an inspection number. My P10 frame/receiver had a number or letters written in it when I disassembled it near the locking block, and I also noticed writing inside my Scorpion Evo.

Curious were you able to get the white number off of your P-10 trigger?

Seems strange that so far yours was the only one with a white number on it.
