You will just have an increase in felt recoil. Think of it like putting your Bren on the ?dirty? setting, or shooting an overgassed 5.56 AK. Short term/low round count it will not cause any harm. However, CZ does not recommend doing this as it is much harder on the internals. If you shoot suppressed a lot, you could experience what some SCAR owners are now dealing with. But we?re talking about thousands of suppressed rounds.

That being said...keep in mind that the Bren was originally designed to be a 308, and therefor should be able to withstand more abuse. But that doesn?t always mean you should push the limits.

The juice isn't worth the squeeze. Suppressors work ok for most people with the current regulator.

It would require too much money and time for a company to test multiple suppressors and find a port size that works reliably.

The Bren 806 should be released next year.

If it were me, I'd buy a couple extra regulators and have a competent machine shop drill the port. Then maybe have the regulator nitride treated for durability.
