Does anyone know of easy fix for barrel being off-center in the stock in a 527 sup-ready 300 blk or 7x39

Is it off center the whole length, or is it closer on one side out at the forearm tip?

A picture would be worth a thousand words.

Assuming the rifle is a shooter, I'd remove some material from the stock on the tight side using a socket, or similar, and sand paper.

How does it shoot?

Without seeing the rifle, I can only make a few guesses. Is the magazine and trigger guard vertical in relation to the stock? If not you might need to sand a tiny bit around the lugs to level. Does the action and barrel rest evenly in the stock with the bolts loose or out? If so, how tight are the bolts before the action and barrel drift? Could the bolts be over tightened? Is the wood the same thickness on each side of the stock?
