If you look at a factory sight set on the 97BD (decocker with tritium night sights), you will these are exactly the same as our sights. In other words you can see the top of the slide in the rear sights notch on the factory sight set. Our EZ/D rear and EZ/D-97 are exactly the same overall height as the factory sights.
Reason is CZ decided to retain the ultra low profile front sight used on all their 9 mm pistols on the 97, and make the adjustment in the rear. So our EZ/D rear only is perfectly compatible with the stock front 97 front sight. Our EZ/D-97 full sight set also uses the ultra low profile front, so like the factory set up, the top of the slide is visible in the rear sight notch.
A better (if not the ultimate sight set that alleviates this issue) solution is our:
