Fix for the P-10-C Striker Housing
« on: February 18, 2018, 09:52:12 PM »
We have had some reports of the plastic striker housing "clocking" or rotating in the P-10-C slide.  We have observed more movement in this housing than we prefer.  Not saying this a major issue, but we see room for improvement.

We have designed an extremely simple method that should fix this.  We are in the testing phase.

Very cool. IMO the clocking is the root cause of the striker plate disengaging and dropping down.  Fix this and I think that?ll resolve the problem once and for all.  I was gratified to see that replacing the striker with CGWs corrected the bulk of the clocking, but there?s still some slot in there with the plastic housing.

2morechains,

Our goal is to transform the P-10-C into the most reliable and durable striker fired pistol.

OMG yes!  I can often observe the slide plate moving as the trigger bar drags downward on the striker leg.  A more rigid assembly would also result in more consistency of the striker's position in relation to the trigger bar i.e. a more consistent break.

We designed a simple fix, but we have had no requests from customers in a while.  If we get enough input, we'll certainly do something about it.
