Ugliest Gun Award

The original Hi-Point 995. Ugly as sin but it's cheap, reliable and a kick in the pants to shoot. I bought my son the newer TS model a couple years ago and he has close to 2k trouble free rounds through it. A guy at work needed cash fast so I picked this up dirt cheap. I've already ordered the new style stock for it. Now all I need is a Planet of the Apes uniform to wear when I take it to the range.

That's a perfect sidearm to go with the 995. Are those tack welds at the top?

What was that thing that was bent or curved to be more concealable? It was out a few years back and then vanished.

Apparently it's still around: The Taurus Curve. I guess if you're left handed you're SOL.

Put the new stock on last night. Sadly it didn't improve the looks much - just more tacticool now.

Because they're reasonably priced, reliable, and easy to modify if so inclined. I own a grand total of 1 a Glock 19 Gen 4, and once I changed the trigger to a flat face model, its been a good solid (not great) pistol. Will it replace my Wilson Combat Beretta Centurion or CZ PCR? Nope, but it will always have a place in my safe and at the range.
