H.F Digital Decimal & "Fractional" Caliper.
« on: February 27, 2018, 10:44:21 PM »
I've always used the  Decimal/Metric option Harbor Freight Calipers for reloading,  but ordered the Decimal/Fractional one this time.  It would come in handy for other than reloading.

Anyone use one of these....successfully? ;D  How does it read in the fraction mode when the measurement is not on a common fraction?  23/500ths??? O0

It doesn't. It only reads in 64ths.

BUT... when you get to 22/7ths it does display pi. So don't be irrational.

1/64 is accurate enough for most needs.

Just curious,  thanks.
I'm usually happy with 64ths for my wood work O0
Drill bits can be problematic when you have a LOT of dull/broken loose bits that need to be run through the Drill Doctor and be packaged by correct sizes including metric..
