So first impressions...the size is perfect, feels like about the size of the MP5, still qualified as a pistol, feels like and points like a carbine.

Controls feel stiff...a question, do all the Skorps have an ambi safety switch like mine does? The ridges on the trigger feel sharp, would probably need to wear a glove whilst shooting, would tear up my finger. The ridges on the mag release feel fairly sharp as well, may have to consider swapping out that part. The charge handle, eh, I could go either way with that part. It is one of those parts that working with it will breed familiarity and having an extended handle may not make that big a difference, perhaps a case of spending money just to spend money. Trigger....I'm thinking about sending it out, I dry fired a few times, have never felt a trigger like that, does not feel like a lot of take up, almost feels ratchety and then the break. Feels heavy though.

Accessories....plenty of real estate to put a light laser combo on the front underside.  I could see a Seekins Precision type angled forward grip would feel good. The attachment points for sling look fragile. Plenty of top rail room for a low profile attachment point on the top rail near the front sight. I have no idea where the rear attachment point would be, there are holes in the SB brace but they look waaaaay too fragile to use one of those points. Open for suggestions there. Lastly, red dot sight is a must, Holosun with the instant on feature for me.

I could see the Skorp going to every range session.

I think i figured out the sling mount. Low profile loop attached to the rail right behind the front sight, hk style hook on the sling which might be the Condor quick adjust. Then loop the sling around the back of the brace and run the velcro strap over top of the sling strap. Can tighten the sling strap down some in the rear, it should stay put.

So I pulled my sling and low profile rail mounted loop off my AR to try on the Skorp. Works perfect on the set up I described in the previous post. The sling is a Condor quick adjust, about $24 Amazon, you can get 2 of the low profile loops for about $11 ebay. Wrapped the sling around the back of the SB brace. Velcro strap holds all in place.

The SB brace.....I gotta laugh, for a product that is not supposed to be used as a stock to be shouldered, it sure does work that way, just sayin'. And it has a CZ logo stamped on it.

It is universally known that the scorpion triggers suck out of the box.

And yes, there are a couple of well known companies that will fix that.

As for shouldering a brace, don't do that.  It's designed to help support the gun when fired with your forearm.  Intentionally using it in any other manner (ie. as a shoulder fired stock), would go against federal regulations.

They go back n forth on that shoulder thing , just dont do it at public ranges... dont hold me to it but theyve said several times its still cosidered as a brace.

Yes the factory trigger sucks, there are FAR WORSE factory triggers wayworse out there on dif manufactured weapons the evo is just heavy and long. Pretty much like the double action pull on a handgun. Mine wa 10.3lbs out the box, an hbi sring and 200 rnds later was 4.5. A little polishing work and staying around 3lb 10 oz reliably after 10,000 rounds. Might need a recoil spring feels much easier to charge and a little snappier than was in december
