Tango Downs Vickers base plate on my P-07

So as of now there is still very limited anything for the P-07, it's gotten better with the P-10c being released, but one of the many things lacking is good aftermarket base plates. There are a few extensions out there (+2 or +4) but I live in New York and I can't even get more than 10 rounds so they do me no good.

Well I was on the YouTube's the other night clicking randomly on videos and I see one titled "P-10c Magazine hack" or something. And think hmm P-07 is the same magazine let's see what this hack is.

Well the guy goes on about how the OEM base plates do nothing for the user when it comes to one handed magazine removals or if a magazine is jammed and needs to be ripped out.

His solution trying out the Vickers base plates by Tango Downs.  He says the glock ones will work but didn't show it on camera but did show the M&P fit and work so I figured well $21 let's see if they work in the 07 as well.

Package came today just before I had to get ready for work so I didn't get much time to mess around with them, did get one on and still seats in the gun, slide lock works, will do more function testing soon and need to do some reliability testing.

I bought Springer Precision for my 07 mags,,,LOVE em,,more meat, more weight, more coolness !! Oh and less $$$$ Here check them out !  https://shop.springerprecision.com/product.sc?productId=448&categoryId=95 Buy 6 and get them for $16 bucks each plus shipping ! Also another easy fix is buy NEW P10c mags,,,there base plate is almost the same as the Springer. I also live in NY so feel your pain !! For my tastes I think the Springer looks better and fits better. Check them out and let me know. I would post some pic's but have NOT figured out how to work this place yet,,,,

Also the Vickers don't add any size other then on the sides which is what I'm looking for, for something to get a good grip on if I need to strip a magazine

And I already have bought 2 P-10c mags and that's what caused me to look at YouTube videos, the new base plates are slightly larger but honestly not enough especially compared to the Tango Downs ones when it comes to being able to hook onto something if you need to strip it one handed

LOL,,well I'm a freak and have 10 mags already for my 07 !! And I will be buying more in the near future ! (Tax return  ) So yes when I bought them I did buy 6 cuz I had 6 Original CZ 07 mags so I got the price break. Depending on your $$$ available I would just buy the 6 and  you will be ready for down the road with extra mags. But then for me the P10c mags have almost the same identical base plate as the Springers and its a one time buy so you should be good to go. Actually I don't see the need to buy original 07 mags those darn things are over $40 bucks,,the P10 mags are like $32 so makes sense to only buy them anyways. Also in your original post I thought they were $21 bucks each !!  So my bad for reading it wrong,,LOL That is a decent deal. I didn't like how they looked myself but if they work that's all that matters.

Oh I didn't care about looks, was just looking for function with this, 

As for the p07 and p10c mags I had the original 2 07 mags, but bought 2 10c mags and will deff not buy any 07 ones just the p10c mags from now on,  hoping to eventually get up around 10-15, still wish they were like glock or m&p or other cz mag prices

I hear ya,,function is the key ! As long as the work as they should then your GTG for sure !!! Yea one of the evil little quirks of owning a CZ, mags are a bit more,,although I will say I can buy Mec-gar for my SP-01 for $20m bucks each plus shipping,,so thats as good as any Glock/M&P mag,,maybe not used price but new thats a fair price for sure ! I also agree,,more mags are always better,,mags do last along time but you have to consider them a disposable item so more is always better ! I hear your a NY guy,,I'm Central NY,,if your close PM me and maybe get together at the range someday and trade CZ stories,,LOL

Well this is the best I could do guys,,,when I copy the image its HUGE and didn't want post monster pics up. I guess I'm one step closer,,I'll get it figured out !
