You get what you pay for. If you are just plinking at the range every so often I suppose they?re fine. Other than that they?re junk and won?t hold up to any kind of hard use.
the romeo5s are great sights. ran one on a 12.5 308 for a looooooong time. A lot of the budget red dots have really advanced in quality over the last few years, even the Primary arms sights have been shown to be incredibly reliable.
Romeo5 currently sits on my scorpion. If you want to spend a little more on a brand name sight. Trijicon RMO can be found around or under 500.
