I'll throw in on this one..

I have a PM9 that I bought used.  It has digested about 500+ rounds now (wally-world white box, silvertips & JHP) without a single problem.  Normally I can't hit anything with a DA gun, (I have two 1911s and a CZ75SA) but I have no problem shooting fist size groups at 15 yds.  The recoil is 'snappy' but not unpleasant.  This IS my CCW as it is small, sleek and reliable.

My favorite small and dependable concealed carry pistols are as follows:

1.  Kel Tec P3AT
2.  CZ Rami.
3. Beretta Mini Cougar
4. Glock 26.
5  Sig 232
6. Walther PPK
7. Bersa Thunder

as far as the Kahr,  I am going to have to try one.,  I hear alot of good.

For those who have not experienced one yet,  The Beretta Mini Cougar is steadily becoming my favorite.  It has mindboggling ergonomics and accuracy for such a small pistol.
It may be the perfect CCW 9mm.

King; 1st, thanks for the awesome pictures, a picture is worth a 1000 words. I must say i was surprized to see the KEL-TEC #1 over the RAMI. Love my RAMI. About the Kahr p9, i have just been reading reports from P9 owners, and they all have been mixed reviews. It seems that Kahrs quality control needs a good deal of improvement. I have an opportunity to sell my walther p99 to a friend, was going to use the money to purchase the  Kahr, but iam concerned that i might end up with a "lemon". the Walther is very nice and comes with 2 ten rd. mags and 2 sixteen rd. mags, also has the Q.A. trigger. Anyway, iam going to think some more on this. Love the Kahrs size and  weight, perfect for C.C.W.

The P3AT Kel Tec has to rate number one simply because when you consider how small and slim it is for a .380ACP, its a bargain and highly concealable.,  even more so than the Rami, and for $275,  nothing can beat it, thats why I have a few.

Corbon make a nice hollow point that runs hot, but accurate and reliable and spear makes a personal defense round that works great too! Sorry I don't have pics.

Everytime I see the title of this thread when I go by,  I think of an "H&K Moment" and the parking garage scene with Tom Cruise in Colateral (otherwise known as a great ad campaign for the H&K USP),  gotta love it.!

Any chance you could post a side-by-side of your P9 and P3AT?  Looked at a couple of the new P3ATs yesterday, but haven't made a decision yet.

  Its a compromise between caliber and narrow profile.  The P3AT is a .380ACP but is noticably narrowed in its profile, and thus more concealable, but the Kahr is a 9mm,  so its a question of giving up slightly more concealability for a more powerful cartridge, or do you want the concealability advantage that the Kel Tec offers., plus of course the Kahr is $150-$200 more,  I went with the Kel Tec, but I already have a 9mm Glock 26, but there are some places that the Kel Tec could be concealed where the Glock cannot.  
  If you are still stumped and budget permitting; do what I do in a situation like this.  GET BOTH !.  LOL

Not in the cards this time.  I've already socked away funds for a new upper for my AR15, which will leave almost enough for the P3AT or a good down payment on the Kahr.  Will probably end up wiht the Kel-Tec, but wanted to see if side-by-side if possible.  Nobody local stocks the Kahr that I remember.

You can't go wrong with the Kel Tec.  Their lifetime warranty and their customer service is legendary.  
  I had a first generation very old P32 that I had put literally at least 10,000 rounds through,  mainly Winchester and Magtech full metal jacket .32ACPs and a few hundred Speer Gold Dot Hollows.  The extractor finally went and had had enough.  Mailed it in to Kel Tec and had it back in three weeks with an extra magazine and a thank you note for being a customer of theirs.  All I paid was the shipping.  HOW IS THAT FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!
