Looks awesome.  Love it.  I'm thinking CZ needs to do a white nitride slide over black framed P-09.  I'd buy that in a heartbeat.  Can anyone here put a good word into CZ for me?!!!

Yes, the P-09 does look like satin nickel, but the P-07 (titanium) has a very slight gold-ish tinge. I like it a little better against black; and love the two-tone look. These are done with Cerakote, but I believe Primary is offering 'Titanium Nitride' now.

While I don't have any experience with white nitride, I did have mu SP-01 compact done in black nitride...All I can say fellas, is quit fooling around with cerakote and other spray on finishes, and just go to nitriding, the price difference isn't that great, and you get a wayyyyy better finish that is highly rust resistant, and dosen't need to be reapplied down the road. Armoredman, that looks great..

Yes!  Very nice!  And you?re right, the white nitride against the FDE does look pretty awesome.

I was told the slot on the side is for the newer striker assembly, preventing it from rotating or the back plate from sliding. It seems to be working.

It looks really nice and I'm thinking that I might just have to add another to the family.  Let's see, time to kick the rationalization engine into high gear.  I have a carry P10 and a range P10, but don't have a P10 for the wife.  Sounds like I need to go P10 shopping.  Easy enough...

Yea, just when I got my FDE P10 finished up and ready to carry, this gets posted. I keep saying that I have plenty of guns and don't need any more. Oh what the heck, one more won't hurt, especially a CZ.

Important follow up - cleaning. One thing - this slide is NOT clean any longer.



On the other hand, there is no fudging on whether the slide is actually clean or not - you know it.

Mr Bond? Well, at least the bore looks nice, very little residue, took little time to clean.



So why is this so important? This;



That's the slightly beveled spots on the slide cover - notice anything? No battering - it was staying in place during the entire firing cycle. THAT is important and welcome.
