That is correct

The CZ 75 Compact, PCR and P01 will accept 10 round and 14 round mags which will fit flush with the bottom of the grip.  They will also accept 16,17,18,19, and 26 round mags made for the cz75 either CZ or Mecgar branded.  Anything over 14 rd mag will stick out from the grip.  For the 16 rd mag, you can get a SP01 basepad that will fill the gap.  There is not any spacer made for the Compact for anything above the 16 round mag.

However, if you?re really worried about the gap, you could purchase a +4 extension from CZ Custom shop and install that on your 14 round mag and that will sit flush to the grip and give you 18 rounds.

Some pictures for reference
All on a PCR Compact frame

14 round mag with PPD Billet Matte Basepad

16 Round mag with SP01 basepad

17 round Mecgar AFC mag

19 round Mecgar AFC mag (17 round with +2 basepad)

14 round mag with CZ Custom +4 Extension (factory follower and +10% spring) holds 18 rounds.  Slide lock back with factory followe but not with CZ Custom followe. You could gain another 2-3 rounds by using the CZ Custom or Grams follower but slide lock is not garaunteed.

Mecgar 17 round AFC Mag with CZ Custom +4 extension and CZ Custom spring and follower.  Holds 23 rounds.  Does not lock back the slide

CZUB or CZUSA use to make a 26 round mag.

Yay... just found this great explanation on another thread.

For the standard 75B-based guns, which come in two frame sizes, there are two basic magazine sizes.

1) Magazines for compact 75B-based semi-autos.  These comes in 10- and 14-round capacities. These two  magazines are the same physical size and either will work in a compact gun.  The different capacities are due to changes inside the mags.  These are the only mags that will fit flush with the bottom of the compact gun's grip.

2) Magazines for the original/standard full-size 75B-based semi-autos.  These mags come in 10-, 15-, and 16-round sizes.  These mags are physically longer than the "compact" magazines, but the physical dimensions of the 10, 15, and 16 mags are all the same; the different capacities are due to changes inside the mags.

CZ offers other even-higher capacity 75B magazines for other variants of the 75B full-size guns -- and while all of these magazines will work in a compact 75B-based gun, they will all extend farther out of the grip than a mag designed for a compact model.

Good info but I want to be sure before I buy anything. So the mags @ Brownells that say CZ75B Compact (10rd) should work in a CZ PO-1 ? Item/Part Number:(Mfr Part: MGCZ7510B) Here is the link from the other post: https://www.brownells.com/magazines/handgun-magazines/magazines/cz-75b-9mm-magazines-prod69723.aspx Thanks for any info I'm just trying to be sure about  what I'm buying.

I don?t see any compact 10 round mags in that link.

There is a 14 round compact mag.

The MGCZ7510B is for a full size cz75.  Yes it will work in your gun but it will stick out of the grip.

You?re looking for a 10 round compact mag?

Unfortunately Mecgar doesn?t make a 10 round compact mag.

You?ll have to spend a little more a get a CZ brand 10 round mag.  This will fit flush with the bottom of your grip.  If you don?t care that it sticks out of your grip by 3/4? then you can get the Mecgar MGCZ7510B

Otherwise here is the CZ Branded Compact 10 round mag

That?s not a ?Compact ? 10 round mag.  That is a 10 round mag for a full size frame... CZ75, SP01, Shadow, Phantom, Shadow 2...  Which is why I said I didn?t see any compact 10 round mags in that link.

That mag will work in your compact but will stick out of the bottom.  It may be late, but I know what I?m talking about.

Mecgar DOES NOT make a 10 round compact mag

You?re asking for help and I?m trying to give it to ya

Yup, no worries.  It can get a bit confusing with the longer grip of the full size frame.

I just wanted to make sure that you knew what you were getting.  I?ve ordered so many mags in the past that I actually have the part numbers in my head 😂

LOL,yea that's a good thing knowing the correct numbers, very helpful when your scanning the interweb LOL. I just started getting into the PO-1s and realize that the bigger mags do work but being a mag junkie I want minimum 12 (correct) for every gun I have ! I looked at the Brownells link and the mags were $26ish versus $36ish and I wanted to jump. Oh well ya want the best ya pay for it,LOL I'll just save up a bit more and grab them from Greg Cote cuz he does have some of the best deals and selection of CZ mags. My dilemma is I need 10rd mags living in good ole NY  >:( so harder to find 10rders sometimes. Now you seem to know your mags etc are there bigger/better base pads that fit on the (10rd) PO-1 mags ? The ones I have aren't bad but not the greatest bases, they seem durable enough but looking for something different if available, Thanks.

Yea the CZ branded mags are a bit expensive unfortunately.  But they are great mags and are actually made by Mecgar and branded as ?CZ?.

Do you have rubber base pads or plastic?

P01?s usually come with a rubber base pad, but since you have 10 round mags that come with yours, I believe those are plastic.

Do your mags look like the one with a circle or a X?

1. 75D Compact is the European designation for the 75P-01 which is only sold in the US. CZ marks the slides according to where they will be sold.
2. Due to 2008 Election Spike in gun sales,  CZ-USA imported the European marked pistols into the USA to meet the demand surge.
3. The NATO Stock Number(NSN) is further proof that this European variety is the same as the P-01 and that this unit has gone through extensive testing and meets the parts interchangeability standards for NATO certification.
4. The SKU number of #91199 is the same for the both pistols because the only difference between them is that the slide markings are different.

Found this nugget of info...

So my 75D Compact is a P-01?

I was thinking it was actually a PCR??

Maybe its all 3?

Love this gun... but it has been a nightmare trying to figure out what I have and what works with it.
And I bought it new in 2010!

Just have never done anything but carry it, and the occasional trip to the indoor range. I've been trying to play with it (sporting fun) for about 6 months, and this thing has become very confusing, lol...

A PCR has no rail for a light/laser.

A P01 has the rail for a light/laser.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Somebody recently posted that MecGar is coming out with a 15rd mag for the compact shortly. Will likely be cheaper if you don't mind losing 1 round in capacity.

It looks like they're CZ factory only, so pretty pricey, but they're flush fit 15 rounds.

My mags look like the ones with the 0 on them. Plastic base which is recessed on the bottom. I see rubber base pads @ CGW but they are always out of stock and don't know if they would work anyways !
