Very Cool!  8)  I've often thought of mounting a Vortex Venom or some such optic on one or more of my Pistols.

Look how low they got the RMR. That may be the lowest factory mounting plate I've ever seen for the RMR.

I have been shooting my CZ P-07 with Red Dot for about a year and I really like it. The P-10 optic ready would be really sweet.

I am an older gun and my eyes are not great at our Thursday night matches drawing from concealment I usually finished 9-11 out of 20 which I was glad to do considering we have some really good, young shooters. With the red dot I am usually 4-6 out of twenty and the guys ahead of me who are top shooters who I could probably not beat if I was young again.

IDPA is allowing red dots in a provisional test for a while and if we don't get rained out this Sunday it will be the first match where they are allowed. It usually has 60-70 shooters so it will be a good test compared to what I normally do with open sights.

Speaking from personal experience, even if they add it to the official rule book, don't rush out and drop money right away. I got burned when BUG-R was <3" and 6 rounds and when they rejiggered CCP dimensions. I spent about $1400 on two guns for the new divisions that were illegal 6 months later when they Darth Vader-ed the rules again.

Exactly, the reason I added the dot to the P-07 is new rules made it to big for CCP and I didn't have any other real use and I have another sport I can use it in with the dot.
