I was wondering what the recommendations are for this both factory and personal. as well as what all springs need to be replaced. General maintnece questions

I went to CZ-USA and bought one or two each of all the Factory Springs and Pins they had available at the time, as well as a 'Kit' I put together of each of the Magazine Release Parts they had in stock.  I still have some unused pieces on hand, but I never regretted 'stocking up' on those parts and spreading the S/H cost across a number of items.

A new RECOIL SPRING can help tame some of the 'snappiness' of the recoil, as well as keeping the spent cases from flying more than one county over to the right.  A SEAR SPRING and a SLIDE RELEASE SPRING will be nice to have on hand for your next detail strip, just in case.

Wolff has a kit with 14.5 (original weight), 16, and 18 lb recoil springs. Had issues with the slide locking back, the 16 fixed that up.

I installed a wolff spring on my 83 and the ends of the spring scored the heck out of my barrel .
I had only shot a few rounds when I notices some grinding in the slide, broke it down and had some serious scratches on my barrel.
What I noticed was that the stock factory spring was milled flat and the spring ends were filed . The wolff spring was not .
So if I were you I would opt for a factory spring unless you are comfortable lapping the spring ends on the wolff product.

I had the same problem when I installed a Wolff spring in my P64. I clipped off a bit in the final coil instead of filing and it's been working perfectly since then.
