Shadow Custom SAO USPSA/IDPA holster?
« on: May 09, 2018, 09:11:27 AM »
I have a cz custom shop 75 Shadow SAO I want to start shooting in USPSA limited or possibly in IDPA ESP division. I have more fun in USPSA so that is more likely where I will end up. Does anyone know who makes holsters for this pistol or where I could find one? I'm not looking at super high end gear but don't want junk either. I appreciate any help and I apologize if the question has been covered on the forum before but I haven't been able to find it. Thanks again.

Blade tech and CompTac are nice and budget friendly holsters. I’m using a Comptac for my shadow 2 and RHT for my TSO.

+1 on the CompTac, and a Ben Stoeger BOSS offset for USPSA, all quite affordable.

I'll even up the vote by adding +1 for the Blade-Tech!

Another vote for the BladeTech!  I have one setup for USPSA w/Boss drop hanger (Shadow 2) and one for IDPA with TekLok (75 Shadow).

Steve H. from MI got ahold of me and said the comp tac international will work as that's what he runs. If anyone can tell me for sure what blade tech holster will work I'm still interested. Thanks fellas!

The Blade Tech Signature will work fine for the CZ SP-01, and is less than $35.00.  Only thing you might need to watch is if its clears an extended thumb safety, which is easy enough to modify if need be.

My gun is not an  sp-01 just to be clear. That's the issue.

Comp Tac International can fit both CZ75BD and SP-01.  There's an insert that can be removed.

Blade Tech Classic also makes for 75BD, but more pricey.

I believe the 75 Shadow slide is different than the 75 BD, so for the best fit you want a holster that will fit that.  Blade-Tech makes a holster specifically for the 75 Shadow, and it works great.

I own two CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow pistols, both built by CZ Custom in Mesa, AZ.  I also own one CZ 75 SP-01 (non-Shadow) built by Cajun Gun Works in Monroe, LA.  I use all three of these pistols with a Blade Tech holster that is now called the "Classic OWB Holster".  It used to be (or a version very nearly like it) called the Sting Ray Belt (SRB) holster.  Current versions retail for $79.99.  I use this holster for all three pistols and both the Shadow and non-Shadow models fit the holster identically.  Used in IDPA and USPSA.
