CZ 527 carbine barrel

How safe is it to shoot 40 rounds through the barrel of my 527 carbine (7.62x39) in a short amount of time? Will it hurt the barrel or accuracy ? I just like to buy a 40 round pack of Tula ($10) and shoot hanging plastic jugs at 100 yards or more at one of my farms.

Go right ahead. It will be fine - I've put a few hundred through in a single range session with nothing going wrong. Fun and accurate little rifle!

A fun and accurate little rifle it is and I have only picked up my Mossberg 308 MVP Patrol once since I bought my CZ 527.

Now that you remind me, I haven?t picked up my 308 Ruger GS Scout at all since I got my 527 carbine!

Of course having bought a CZ Bren probably has something to do with that as well.

You will get it warm enough that your groups will open up, but the 7.62x39 doesn't have the velocity to really damage the barrel when it gets warm.  If you were shooting a .22-250, I would tell you differently.
