WOW!

I think my P09 is going to get pimped, I love the gold and black together.

Can you finish a slide in nitrate and then color over it with cerakote?

Check with Primary.
Primary Machine offers a titanium nitride. I believe it is gold color like the super tough titanium nitride coated drill bits. My understanding is that it's even harder than black nitride. Might be perfect for a barrel finish and it sure does look pimped!  Cobalt Blue Cerakote slide with Titanium Nitride barrel. Hmmmm.

I received my P09 as a gift from a friend, so I will not part with it.

Now the truth is since getting my Cajun P07, I haven't shot my P09 even once. The CGW P07 is the best  pistol as of now.

Sounds like you need to Cajunize the P-09 to match the P-07.     O0

Unfortunately not. For proper application of cerakote it has to be applied to the raw substrate.

But, you could Cerakote the slide say Cobalt Blue, and Titanium Nitride the barrel, which is a gold color; yes??

Yes on the blue titanium and we can do the titanium nitride on the barrel which is gold, yes.

Have owned and/or shot many Shadows, Shadow 2's, etc etc...still something about a P-09 you can't get away from. Just a great handling, soft shooting gun.

Gorgeous P-09 Brass!

I use my P09 to shoot carry optics in USPSA. This month marks the 1 year anniversary I?ve owned the Pistol. I?ve got all the CGW parts in it. Shot over 12,000 rounds through it and it has been flawless so far. The gun handles very well, it?s accurate and reliable. What more could a guy ask of a competition gun? Other than another CZ. Which I?m trying to decide between P07 or P10C.

Maryland is getting bad. Had to get licensed to buy and have to repay every 2 years, After spending enough on classes for a pump shotgun. 10rd limit as well.
In some ways living a state that WON"T allow you to buy just anything sometimes works in my favor.  I'd love a P-07 and a P-09, but they are not on the CA roster.  It does keep me in check, almost.

Yeah, Ten 00 shells outta stop 'em! Still have that 45ACP Witness?? I'm really getting concerned that 10 round limit will spread beyond the do gooder-feel gooder states.  Hopefully, no further South. Really, I wonder what (if any) statistics support it? -Vinny

Still holding out... I should get a gold star for willpower. That said, I have one sitting in the shopping cart as I write this.

Besides lack of funds he only reason I can think of is its size.
Have to dress around it to carry concealed.
Did I say it is a big pistol!

Yeah. That seems to be the hang-up here...
